We are one year closer to the kingdom of God

We can’t despair that the worlds a mess,
We can’t be overcome with doubt and stress.

We know the job that is ahead,
We know God’s word must be our bread.

God called us all to do a work, to warn the world of things to come,
Let’s put our hearts into this task, even though in church we can only hum.

But we can pray and we can fast,
Till God’s kingdom comes at last.

Another year ahead to do God’s work,
Let us boldly go forward and lets not shirk.
