2019 Festival in Kalukanya Zambia

Here is a report from one of United Church of God's most remote Feast of Tabernacles sites.   The Feast was held in Kalukanya, Zambia in northeastern Zambia about 600 miles from Lusaka. There is no air service there and the drive is intense from already distant places (for us in the US) But, the Church in both Kalunkaya and Isoka has prospered under the pastorship of Alfred Siame and his supportive wife Edith.  Only a handful of ministers from the United States have visited (and I'm not one of them).  They hold their own Feast of Tabernacles and just sent this report to me for the 2019 Feast.  Here is the report from Alfred Siame.

The Feast was held at Kalukanya with 46 adults and 60 children. The preachers were myself, Deacon Patrice Yaphet Sinyenga,B.Kabangula, Innocent Chilongo and Richard Kayame. The messages were on:How should Christians today celebrate the Feast?, Give your hearts to Jesus,Does God communicate with Christians through dreams today?, How can we know if the Holy Spirit is leading us?,What have we chosen is it life or death? Law and Grace,God's Law is Love. The Bible study was on the Sabbath and tithes conducted by me. We had a special and memorable Feast.Interesting I baptized Mr lameck Mutambo 86years a widower. Also received a Mister Sunday Silwimba. We are thanking God for the assistance from home office to enable us hold the Feast peaceful and harmony. In addition I have acquired a piece of land which is 500m from the site after seeing that the current land is small,I approached the village headman who has given us land of 100m by 200m and I'm sure this land will Carter for more people in future and other infrastructure will be built.
