Coleman and Heather Gidcumb

Bev and I are very happy for our niece Heather Kubik and Coleman Gidcumb who were married on September 22, 2017 in High Country Orchard in Colbert (Spokane area), Washington. Seeing Heather marry into such a fine family was very joyful for us to experience.  Both hold upright values and their marriage will be a success.

Prophetic Times August 26, 2017

We live in a time when children from an early age are being taught in some nations to hate and kill their enemies. It is a time when threats by rogue nations are made regularly, and the possibility of war is ever-present. The news these days is sometimes scary. More and more people do not want to hear about it, and as a result, the news media is catering to this mentality by providing fluffy nonsense mostly about Hollywood. Of course, we are admonished to watch and be aware.

But, we have hope when we see the crazy news of these confusing time.  Jesus Christ told His disciples, "And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet." (Matt. 24:6 )

The condition of the world continues to heat up in many areas of the world. Central to the concerns now is the rhetoric coming out of the rogue nation of North Korea which is making threats of launching ICBM missiles at the U.S. Territory of Guam. U.S. Military officials believe the N. Koreans have developed nuclear capability and perhaps could mount a weapon on one of their missiles. Naturally, in the event of an attack, the United States must respond to protect the over 150,000 U.S. citizens on Guam.
