Bill and Betty Torode Killed in Car Accident

This past Sunday morning, March 29, Bill and Betty Torode, two very longtime dearly beloved members of the Flint congregation, were both tragically killed in an automobile accident. They either overran a stop sign or didn’t see the car coming from the other direction. They were pronounced dead on the scene. Bill and Betty had been members in this area for over 40 years. They had been married for 56 years. They have a number of family members who have been or still are associated with God’s Church, including their granddaughter Angie, who also attends in Flint. Bill was 80 and Betty was 78, but both were in relatively good health. This is a tremendous loss to the Flint congregation, as they were both greatly loved by all.

Please pray for God to comfort the Torode family and the members of the Flint congregation during this extremely difficult time of loss. We have lost two very beloved family members. They were very loyal members, so we know they will be with God’s Family in His soon-coming Kingdom.
