Helgi Luts
UPDATED January 31, 2008 Helgi has been undergoing another regime of chemotherapy. Both Johnnie Lambert (who is in Estonia right now) and I have visited with her and she tries to be strong, yet the cancer remains. Even though she cannot understand English, she does appreciate cards of support, prayer and encouragement from those who write. Her address is

UPDATED March 24, 2007 This Sabbath morning I did our church service over Skype to Estonia. Helgi was at the Pallas Hotel where the brethren meet. She said that she is doing much better than expected and some of her hospital stay was curtailed significantly because she was doing so well....and she was happy to be with the Church today and hear my sermon about prayer. I told her that I would share her joy with all of you reading this. UPDATED March 19, 2007 Helgi is going to go through another treatment of cycle of chemotherapy. It will be more aggressive than what she has gone through last June. We ask your prayer for her to be rid of the cancer. She attends our Sabbath meetings in Tartu, Estonia every Sabbath. She does not speak English, but would certainly appreciate getting cards of cheer and good wishes from friends around the world. UPDATED June 27, 2006 We visited with Helgi Luts while in Tartu, Estonia on June 17-18th. She was able to come to services as well as to the picnic all day long on Sunday. She really appreciates the prayers of everyone for her health and ability to cope with the disease and treatment. June 6, 2006 Helgi Luts, of Tartu Estonia has been suffering from cancer and going through chemotherapy. She attends our United Church of God services in Tartu on the Sabbath.
