The Story of Man
The time was set and it began
For God created woman and man
And in a garden lush and green
A serpent came upon the scene.
A cunning, wily, sneaking snake
Who turned their heads so they would take
The fruit that God had said, NO, NO
And because of this they had to go.
They left the garden lush and green
Were forced to till the ground so mean
Their lives were full of sighs and tears
Away from God they suffered fears.
But wait! God told the of a day
When all their pain would go away
The curse upon the ground no more
And peace upon the earth would soar
A Son who suffered very much
Would com an through His very touch
Would take away destructive sins
And mankind could begin again
That cunning, wily, sneaking snake
Who tempted man so he would take
The fruit that God had said NO NO!
His is the one who had to go!
