Bridgette Sexton, daughter of Rex and Patty Sexton...who is United Church of God's pastor in  Olympia/Tacoma, Washington courageously stands up for her beliefs... Below is an article on the sports page of the May 26, 2004 Columbian.  This year (2005) she competed in the NCAA Track meet in Abilene.  Bridgette came in 10th out of 16 in the preliminary 800 on Friday (May 27)  with a time of 2:13.26.  She did not make the final round, but we are very happy for her doing well in her first national meet.  Thanks to everyone who sent encouraging notes.  Have a great Sabbath!
