I am fourteen and I have had asthma since I was three years old. I have problems with my asthma when I am around perfume and cologne. When I first smell perfume, I get a headache, and then I start coughing and sneezing. My eyes swell and I have trouble breathing. It is hard to go anywhere without smelling perfume. I have to carry medicine with me at all times. Once I take medicine, it puts me to sleep for the rest of the day. I hope to grow out of my asthma someday.
