UCG member Imbi Kuusksalu of Tartu, Estonia, was selected to represent small schools of Estonia at the European Union

Imbi Kuusksalu of Tartu, Estonia, was selected to represent small schools of Estonia at a Comenius conference in Salzburg, Austria, Nov. 23 – 28. Comenius is sponsored by the European Union and is attended by all member nations of the European Union. The purpose of Comenius is to develop an understanding among the member states and to strive to achieve some uniformity in educational policies among the small schools in the EU. Imbi will be making a presentation on behalf of Estonia and her school. The nation of Estonia had to approve her selection and allocate funds for her trip. Imbi teaches English at the 8 to 10 year level, and also teaches adult education classes. Imbi is a member of the United Church of God in Tartu. She facilitates Sabbath services every week by translating telephone calls from English to the Estonian Language. At the recently held Feast, Imbi also translated for services held during the festival.
