I will be leaving on December 25 for Estonia. I have been asked by Darlene Reddaway who is currently in St. Petersburg, Russia to bring some used books for a private school that she is seeking to help. I can carry a suitcase full of books that will then be taken to neighboring Russia by automobile.
What kind of books? For the school, all subjects, not textbooks specifically although they can be included too. Ages 4-17.
I will need to have the books sent to me BEFORE December 24th. If you can ship in the next few days or so, I'm sure that they will arrive on time.
If you can help, please send books to:

More about the school from Darlene Reddaway:
"I spent 7 hours at Kolya's mom's school today. It is a really good, progressive school, with exceptionally developed programs in art, music, and foreign languages. They have won many awards for their art, and even for a video (for a competition that was all-European). The school goes from day school to grade 11 (our 12th grade). They have an interesting philosophy -- that the people with whom you started day care are the people you study and graduate with. They create a family atmosphere.
"I have a brochure about the school, but I can only tell you that this is a very nice school. What I have seen today convinces me that Russia will resurrect, on the strength of the sacrifice of these teachers (who receive $50/mo) and the happy children they are producing.
It would be nice if we could find them a sister school, in addition."
