This year’s Feast of Tabernacles sermon video, titled “The Kingdom of God is Righteousness, Peace and Joy,” derives its inspiration from Romans 14:17-18: “For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. For he who serves Christ in these things is acceptable to God and approved by men.” But isn’t it sometimes a challenge to serve God in these things while facing so many of the difficulties in today’s world? How can we keep our focus on the Kingdom and live righteously with peace and joy, when the odds are against us? Nothing answers these questions, and highlights these verses, more effectively than the real-life accounts of members in God’s Church today. This sermon video will tell four stories of members and their families and congregations that come from such diverse locations as Texas, North Carolina, Nigeria and Rwanda. You are guaranteed to be inspired and encouraged to seek the Kingdom of God more fervently as you hear these brethren tell how God increased their faith despite hardship, trial or persecution. As we look forward to God’s Kingdom and anticipate the time when all of humanity will be learning of His ways—pictured by the Feast of Tabernacles—this message will help all of us to be even more committed to serving Christ in righteousness, peace and joy.
