Beverly and I traveled by AXA bus from Blantyre to the capital Lilongwe, Malawi on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. All these scenes and slices of Malawi life were taken from the bus.
In 1985 I wanted to visit refugee camp Lyssenko in Hannover, Germany camp where my parents lived from 1945-1949. I was born there in October 1947. From other Ukrainian families who were from the same camp as my parents at camp Lyssenko I got the address and the exact location where my parents lived. Camp Lyssenko was in the northern part of Hannover, north of the city center.
As I sat on my porch in the cool of the day
I heard wild geese calling,
High in the air, with the wind in their wings,
Their echoing voices falling.
Along with few friends about sunset time, I quickly walked over the Pasadena campus of Ambassador College where I went to school from 1966-1968. Some of the stately buildings are there, others are torn down making way for residential condos. Some of you find this slide show of interest.
